We recommend staying away from the main rd and hope they will upgrade the washrooms. Bring sandals or water shoes for the shower its all concrete.

There was a potluck and street dance on the saturday. It was amazing and was all quiet by midnight. The sites are nice and all have electric and water. The people are friendly and the staff are very accomodating if you need something. There is a free boat launch and the lake is crystal clear.

Spent 5 days at pineaires with our tent trailer. This place is cash only..no debit. During our stay it seemed very noisy..alot of ATV and gators being driven by park staff. We were on the main rd. Beach is small but it was sandy and had a nice floating dock. Was a great place to launch our kayak which we left at the beach. It was safe and people are friendly.

Pineaires Resort is a wonderful family park. The lake is a spring fed, has a natural sandy bottom and a beautiful blue green color. This lake is great for swimming and kayaking. The fishing is fantastic. The seasonal campers are friendly and welcoming. This park is like stepping back in time where kids can be kids again. The sites are large and full serviced. Nice owners as well. Would highly recommend. Not really sure who D Watson is as there was NEVER any renters with that name in the park to my knowledge. I truly believe that he/she has this park mixed up with another as the owners or Pineaires are more than willing to help out when needed, and they address any issues as soon as they arise. We have been to other parks and this by far has been the friendliest that we have encountered. I would rate it above the 5 stars allowed if I could!

I (my family) camped at Pineaires from 1966 (I was 9 months old), until 1979. Sandy Lake is the most beautiful spot I've ever known, so many great memories of it! The Stanfield family owned it back then, they were awesome people. We were the last people on the waterfront lots. To the right of the store and down the little hill

We rented a canoe $7/hr or $40 day which are located behind the house..canoe paddles were in need of repair as they had duct tape on them and stuff was all left sitting outside including life vests.(perhaps this could all go inside)

They have 1 bathroom building with laundry and showers for 25 cents. Woyld be nice to see an outhouse near the beach. The lights in the shower area never worked and bathrooms were very dirty and not cleaned daily. Toilets look like they came from the 60's and are all cracked.
